Myan Marcen-Gaudaur is Director, Social Impact & Reconciliation at Scotiabank. In her role she oversees a portion of ScotiaRISE, the Bank’s 10-year, $500M commitment to economic resilience and is responsible for leading the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide Truth & Reconciliation Action Plan. Within her Truth & Reconciliation mandate, Myan is also responsible for cultivating a culture of Reconciliation within Scotiabank, strengthening community relationships, creating new channels of dialogue between Scotiabank and Indigenous communities. Myan is a proud descent of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation and member of the Metis Nation of Ontario, a designation which respectfully honours her mixed European and First Nations heritage.
