Richard is a technologist, storyteller, and musician. Invigorated by Microsoft's mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, Richard seeks to explore and understand the relationship between humans, the tools we build, and how these tools influence the history, journey, and potential of humanity. He is driven by the desire to create sustainable abundance, prosperity, and harmony through innovation, empathy, and connection. Richard is a gear nerd at heart - when he isn't at work playing with Copilot on the latest Surface device, he's building Lego with kids, riding his bicycle increasingly long distances, or looking at bike gear. You can also find him on stage with Pressgang Mutiny singing sea shanties. He lives in the countryside between Toronto and Montreal with his adventurous family, a fluffy cat, and a devoted Border Collie.
