Tansi, bonjour, hello!
I’m an Ininew Graphic Designer from Pimicikamak (Cross Lake First Nation), currently based on Kahnawá:ke territory in Brossard, Québec. My dad is from Pimicikamak, and my mom is from Opaskwayak Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba. I have been in the graphic design industry for six years now, and my entire practice is based on a two-eyed seeing approach to design and my experience and love for my culture.
I am most well known for my work with the Winnipeg Jets WASAC Night Logo and Manitoba Moose Follow Your Dreams Night Logo with True North Sports + Entertainment and WASAC, my work on the Truth and Reconciliation Keepsake in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mint and National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, and the Every Child Matters Logo and Truth and Reconciliation publications from 2020 to 2022 with Canadian History Society Magazine and NCTR.
