Relay is the Director of Finance at the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association (NACCA) and she led the establishment of the Indigenous Prosperity Foundation (IPF). NACCA serves First Nations, Métis, and Inuit entrepreneurs and communities nationwide through its network of Indigenous Financial Institutions that provide capital solutions. The Indigenous Prosperity Foundation, in collaboration with major financial donors, offers access to training, mentorship, digital technologies, and funding for Indigenous women, youth, and early-stage entrepreneurs.
Relay is a Chartered Professional Accountant(CPA) who is dedicated to promoting sound financial governance and innovative strategies. With over 20 years of experience, she has demonstrated leadership in strategic decision-making, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Relay has held leadership positions in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors in the UK and Canada. Most recently, she has led a number of NACCA’s strategic initiatives, including its property acquisition in Ottawa and the launch of the ADAAWE Indigenous Business Hub and Foundation.
She sits on the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Indigenous Working Group, Ontario Chambers of Commerce Board and is an Inaugural Board Director of Immigrant Entrepreneurs Canada, a national non-profit organization supporting newcomer entrepreneurs to succeed in Canada.
