This session will showcase how AI can drive Indigenous economic growth, support sovereignty, and enhance capacity for self-determination in economic growth and design and examine AI’s transformative potential in economic development.

This session will also introduce the Indigenomics AI platform and connect the importance of Indigenous economic data to the growth of the Indigenous economy, self-determination and community wealth-building. Further, this session will examine Indigenous data ethics and identify the need for strong data governance to prevent misuse of Indigenous data and preserve cultural integrity.
